For instance, in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, developers keep building taller residential towers with all the amenities to satisfy the demanding buyers’ increasing needs. Therefore, there are projects for every taste and something for most budgets, from 1 million dollars to no limit. Icon Realty Management developed Beckford House and completed the project in 2020. Studio Sofield designed 32 luxurious units over 19 floors as well as the shops and offices of Tom Ford and Gucci. Unit prices range from $2 million to $20 million.
Icon Realty Management also developed the 30-story Beckford Tower. It is part of the same residential project as Beckford House (301 East 81st Street), just located right next door. Studio Sofield and SLCE Architects designed Beckford Tower. This project features 72 units (from one- to six-bedroom) and three full-floor penthouses with outdoor.
Tishman Speyer and Studio Gang developed this 51-story Downtown Brooklyn tower at 11 Hoyt Street. Therefore, Michaelis Boyd Associates designed the 481 luxury condos. This building is a redevelopment of the former Macy’s Brooklyn branch. It offers no less than 481 luxury condos.
This Murray Hill is scheduled for completion in 2020. It features 199 apartments across 62 stories. J.D. Carlisle designed this Midtown Manhattan tower, and Handel created the architecture and building design.
Related developed the 21-story Lantern House at 515 West 18th Street in West Chelsea. The award-winning team at Heatherwick Studio designed the project. The building features 181 one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units.
Lightstone is completing this 66-story new construction at 130 William Street in Manhattan’s Financial District. The project offers 242 residences and 22,000 sq ft of amenities. Acclaimed British architect Sir David Adjaye designed the building.
Extell Development developed this impressive 131-floor skyscraper at 217 West 57th Street in Central Park South. Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture designed this project. The building includes only 179 extreme luxury apartments and provides many amenities, including a swimming pool and a rooftop.
Rockefeller Group developed this 46-story, Art Deco-inspired project in the heart of the bustling Flatiron District of Midtown South. This area, also called Nomad, is on the rise. The move-in date is this summer 2020, but COVID-19 is slowing things down. Rose Hill incorporates 123 luxury apartments designed by Cetra Ruddy.
Located on the UWS of Manhattan, United Management and Certes Partners developed this 20-story new construction, which is scheduled for completion in 2020. Award-winning architects at Cetra Ruddand designed the tower, which offers 38 two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, including penthouses. Amenities include high-end facilities for residents, such as a 5,100-square-foot elevated deck, yoga studios, and a pet spa.
Extell Development also developed the 68-story Brooklyn Point tower, which is scheduled for completion in 2020. Kohn Pedersen Fox designed the Downtown Brooklyn tower, so this project is included in the final phase of the City Point complex. The tower consists of 458 studio—to three-bedroom units. Katharine Newman decorated the apartment interiors.
Minrav Development developed the 35-story Murray Hill new construction, which SLCE Architects designed. The tower includes 100 residences, a ton of amenities, and roughly 3,000 square feet of luxury retail space.
BlackHouse developed the 46-story condominium tower at 552 West 38th Street in Manhattan’s bustling Hudson Yards neighborhood. The high-rise project incorporates hotel rooms and 15 luxury full-floor condos. Ironically, it took off on the site of the former Rosewood Theater gentlemen’s club.
Related developed a 22-story residential tower at 555 West 22nd Street in Chelsea. Award-winning architect Robert A.M. Stern designed the project, which offers 39 large units averaging 2,245 square feet each. Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, business center, kids’ game center, and event rooms.
